What can we do? What can I do?

So far 2018 has been rough. The following is my post on FACEBOOK from tonight.

To all my FACEBOOK friends you have already read this. I am just reaching out to the rest of the world.

 

 

 

22 Dead, 14 school shootings so far in the U.S. It’s only FEB 14th! Sad, it seems that we have come to accept it. What are these lives being sacrificed for? Where is all this hate and violence coming from? What the hell is happening to our country? What we do from here? Parents pay attention to your kids! Do your job. The sad part is that any REAL solution will just get buried up in political BS. Get a hold of your Senators and Representatives and ask them what they are going to do. Stop worrying about keeping your toys, no one is going to take them away from you. The Government, the NRA nor the Churches are not going to fix this,too much money to be lost.Too many worthless parents letting hateful kids raise themselves because they are too busy with their own silly BS. I don’t have the answers, do you? This comes a day after watching the beating video from a local school, I just don’t know. I hesitated writing this because of all the people that I know that this might offend, but I have to. Time for this country to grow up. This not intended to start any arguments, just discussing the problem and what we should do. I’m just tired.

 Every solution offends someone, people get defensive and just wait for this all to blow over. No one wants to pull the curtain back and see the truth because it would burden them. I don’t think more regulations would fix anything, but more consequences for failing parents would.

I have already written to my Senator and I encourage you all to, but you should ask him what you can do. We can’t rely on anyone but ourselves.So, what can you do?
